Hi

Thanks for reading.

I'm was trying to modify my template so it would display the left column position module. So I was to create a div container to do so on the /mytemplate/html/com_hikashop/product/show.php, but neither

<?php echo   JHTML::_('content.prepare', '{loadposition left}');  ?>
nor
{loadposition left}

would display the modules for the left position. Instead I had a page crash.

Can someone give me some clue on this problem please?
I'm new on Hikashop, sorry if this is evident and simple.

Regards,
Louis

Hi,

{loadposition xyz} is meant for displaying modules in content such as articles, but it doesn't work in PHP, not HikaShop PHP or any other.

To keep it simple, try NoNumber's "Modules Anywhere" . It works, is simple and easy, and... free! :)

Hi,

@louisrui
To use the "loadposition" tag, the plugin "Content - Load Modules" must be published.
Otherwise you can use Joomla core itself to display the modules you want ; like with "JModuleHelper::renderModule".

@lousyfool
Sorry but it is working using PHP ; the Joomla article are displayed thanks to some PHP code ; the template are based on PHP, HikaShop is base on PHP, etc.
