Display products by select a category

I wish to create a filter like the following case:

Display products by select a categories from a dropdown menu.

I've already created a filter like this below but it show only categories

Main information
"Type: Single dropdown"
"Category: my desired category to search products"

Options
"Apply on: Category"
"Category: my desired category to search products"

When i select a category, i want to display the products of selected category.
If you go to url, you will see that it shows all category instead of products

Instead of using the filters in the menu, so enabled in the menu settings, it will be better to use the filter module.

In the settings of the filter module you have to set a value for the "menu" option, so there you can use a product listing menu (you can create a hidden menu if needed). That way when using you menu the display is still the same, but when filtering it will only display the products based on the filter.
