Hi all,

From the help file...

Default address type : You can set the default type of a customer. If the user enters a VAT number and based on the checks on it the type will be changed to a company with or without a valid VAT number. Then, based on the type of customer, taxes might be different based on the tax rules you created in the taxation management screen. You should left this parameter to Individual in most cases.

I can't see that setting anywhere. In the manual it is one of the fields as part of the address.

I am asking as my prices are showing without VAT and trying to figure why.

Thx.

Hi,

Merchants were messing with that option while it should normally be left to its default value. So we removed the option in recent versions of HikaShop.
I've updated the documentation, thanks for the feedback.

If the prices are showing without VAT, then you need to look elsewhere.
This FAQ lists the different things that could be wrong:

It must be one of these.
