Reset invoice number

hi, i did some testing and now i need to reset the invoice numbering from the point of the last real sell

can you suggest where i can find info on doing this?
i remeber in a previous post i was told to do it from the database but i did not find threads where this is explained

Beware that all your orders will be deleted.
