Hi,

Am I able to create different email template with different product? Once a product is sold, I would like to send the customer a customised email. E.g. product 1 send email template 1, product 2 send email template 2.

Thanks!

Hi,

There is no option for that with only HikaShop.
However, HikaShop has an integration with AcyMailing which includes a mass action filter system so that you can send emails to customers based on the product bought. So it would be possible to achieve that with that integration.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for getting back! With the acymailing integration, will the emails be sent automatically with each purchase, or do I have to manually blast the emails to all purchasers every time?

Hi,

You can configure the mass action in AcyMailing so that the email is sent when the order is created or confirmed yes.
You can also set a delay, etc.
The mass action system of AcyMailing is quite flexible:

Hi Nicholas,

I have purchase HikaShop Essential and dowloaded Acymailing Starter but I don't see any place where I can configure the settings for the mass action. Where do I set the filters for the purchase orders? Can you please guide me. Thanks.

Hi,

You need to go in the menu Users>Mass actions as shown in the documentation link I gave you.
Note that auto filters, which allow you to trigger an action when an order is created, confirmed, etc requires AcyMailing Enterprise:

Hi,

I have purchased the acymailing enterprise and set the necessary settings at the Users>Mass actions.

I have set a cron job but it seems that it is only activated every 15mins? Can I configure the setting so that after every purchase of a product at Hikashop, acymailing will send out a newsletter/email immediately. How do I set an auto email after every purchase?

Thank you!

Hi,

For Acymailing questions ; best would be to contact the Acymailing support team.

Hi,

From their side they said that sending email right after the purchase needs to be handled by HikaShop. So how do I set it? Please help.

Hi,

When you save a mass action in AcyMailing, you'll find triggers you can select in order to process the mass action when an order is created or confirmed:
monosnap.com/file/Bz9v4ljJLEFrJ455z4STorXaMlhss6
So you need to use that in your mass action so that the filter(s) and action(s) are processed at that point.
That's what I was talking about in my previous message.
And these triggers are displayed automatically when the acymailing/hikashop integration plugins are activated. So unless you disabled these plugins, you should see the triggers when you save your mass action in AcyMailing.

Hi,

Indeed the mail is triggered but I'm waiting 10-15mins to get them. Shouldn't it be instant like getting the invoice email? I have both activated the acymailing/hikashop plugins and triggering the filter when order is "confirmed' (attached), but still isn't getting it after an order is made.

Hi,

It's normal that you have a delay. When you add an email to the queue in AcyMailing (or that you add the user to a list, which has a campaign which adds an email to the queue), you have to wait that the queue is processed by the AcyMailing cron so that the email is sent. If you want it to be sent faster, you have to configure the AcyMailing cron to trigger AcyMailing more often. Please check with the AcyMailing support about that.
