Hi,

We are going to put online our first e-shop online,

and we wanted a few tips of good manners in e-commerce (like the server configuration).

I have read the book "Create your online shop with Joomla! & Hikashop" and put into action.

Is anything else that i have to consider about?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

That's already great if you apply the tips from that book.
Then you can always look at more generic information regarding SEO, marketing, ads, etc on the internet. You'll find many articles talking about that for each topic.

Thanks for the answer.

And there's some minimal technical requirements for the server hosting the shop?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It depends on the traffic of your website and the specific features you need.
For example, if you want to use the TaxCloud plugin, it requires the SOAP module for PHP to be installed and activated and out ging connections shouldn't be blocked by the hosting.
