Price range of variants in prod., categ. displays

I have set-up a site that sells art prints in various sizes and types. I used variants to give customers different options and their prices.

However, in both the category listing and product displays, Hikashop lists the lowest variant price only ($35). No price range is listed, even though "Price range" is selected in the configuration for "Price display method" and prices for a given variant can go as high as $350. This could lead customers to think that a given item is priced at $35, when larger prints (variants) for the same piece can have many different (and higher) prices. (The attached image shows the category listing on the left, with the listing for the same product with a different variant price on the right.)

Is there a way to do one of the following (in order of preference)?

1. List the price range as configured with product variants (i.e. "$35 - $350 each") on the category and product displays?

-or-

2. Turn off price displays except the selected variant price on the product display (shown when the customer has selected the desired variant)?

Apologies if this has already been addressed ... I have browsed and searched but could not find this question in another thread.

Thank you.

The price display method of of the configuration is a default setting which is used for new menus and modules. If you already had created your menu/module before setting it, it's normal that you don't see any change when switching that option.
You should go in the hikashop options of your menu/module to change that same option (they are accessible via the menu Display->content modules and Display->Content menus). You could also try to create a new menu.

Thank you for your very fast response, pasted below:

Unfortunately, I did as advised and there is no change in the display. I have checked all individual menus and modules, and changed them all to "price range." All product listings are still displaying only the lowest price. Apologies if I am missing something obvious, but I have checked this setting everywhere and they are all set to "price range" but not displaying that way.

Is there something else I can try? Otherwise, can you help me turn the price listings in category displays off?

Thanks!

That should work. Did you try to create a new menu after setting the option in the config under the tab display ?

If you can to deactivate the prices on listings. There is also an option for that in the config under the tab display (for new menus/modules) and that same option for each existing menu and module.

I did, or at least I thought I did. I changed the setting in every module and menu I could find, and did create new menus too, with no change to the price. I can still get only a single price, but no price range. I apologize ... I guess I am missing something.

Let's say I wanted to do a similar thing on the Hikashop Demo site ... change the price listing for the butcher knife from a single price ($48.42) to a price range ($41.50 - $55.34) based on the prices of the butcher knife's variants. How would I do that on the Demo site? Perhaps if you could explain the process step-by-step, I can replicate it on my own site.

Thanks again ...

Ah yes, the price range is actually between the prices of the main product (even if they aren't used) so you would have to set the min and max prices in your main product in order to show the price range.
