Hi

Above you can see two links.
Whenever i have an itemid in my url and go to my cart, it keeps the itemid in the url and breaks the page.
Link 1 is an example of the cart when broken.
Link 2 is an example of the cart when normal.

How do i prevent this from happening?
Thanks in advance,

Ismael

Hi,

I don't understand what you mean.
The URL index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=checkout&Itemid=103 is a URL displaying your checkout page, with the cart view and other views displayed on it.
The URL index.php?option=com_hikashop&view=cart&layout=show is a URL displaying your current cart page.

Whether you remove the parameter &Itemid=103 from the first URL or not, the checkout page displays exactly the same on your website.
And it's normal that the checkout page and the cart page don't display the same thing since they are not the same thing.

Now, if you add the parameter &Itemid=103 to the URL index.php?option=com_hikashop&view=cart&layout=show there is a layout change due to your template settings but there is nothing you can do in HikaShop to prevent that. That's something to check with your template provider. But it doesn't seem that you're talking about this ?

Hi,

Yes this is indeed what i ment.
The links ment to be like the following..

So the Itemid=103 has nothing to do with HikaShop?

Hi,

Well, I don't know where you get that link with the Itemid.
In which area of which page exactly ?
Then, I can tell you if that link is generated by HikaShop or not.

However, the display difference itself is not caused by something in HikaShop as far as I can see. It comes from the layout of the page configured in the template settings.
