Hello,

I like to know if there is any chance to handle bundled products?

Say one have a Product HIS-Buster Cobalt Affinity Gel, PackSize 25 ml. The customer should have the option to choose a second product, i.e. QT Epoxy Gel, 5 ml, from another list if he select the 25 ml pack from main product. The additional product should have a separate priceing, i.e. cheaper than normal or free of charge.

Is that possible?

Thanks in advance

Andreas

Hi,

You could use a characteristic for that no ?

Hello,

thank you very much for your suggestion. But I think that characteristics will not do it, because the additional product that a customer can select is not a variant but a completely different item.

I don't know how to implement that via variants.

Thanks again

Well, if you have one characteristic called "bundle" with the values "no", "QT Epoxy Gel, 5 ml" and then, for the variant "QT Epoxy Gel, 5 ml" you would set the bundle price of the main product+"QT Epoxy Gel, 5 ml".

Hello again,

for my problem I can give you a link from an existing shop (non HikaShop) for better understanding.
amocol.com/pages09/Resin_price_calculato...dlesPresentation.php

This is the old shop system that should be transformed to HikaShop.

Thanks

That would require some customing of the checkout. You would add a check on the cart to display a listing of the bundle products if there are products without the bundles in the cart and prevent the user from finishing his order. That shoul be doable by editing the files of the view checkout.
