upgrade from OsCommerce to Hikashop /Akeeba subs

I want to migrate our shop/subscriptions from osCommerce to Joomla/Hikashop/akeeba subscriptions.

The important part is to transfer all users from oscommerce (16k) plus the subscriptions for the ones currently subscribed (1k). All old orders, products and other stuff is not of interest

I'm not familiar with hikashop/ akeeba subs but they seem to be potentially a good solution.

I think these are the basic steps;
1. Set up Hika/Akeeba with 1 & 2 year subs products
2. Move oscommerce accounts to J3 (maintaining password if possible)
3. Add subscriptions for appropriate accounts
4. integrate with sagepay & paypal
