buy/hire with auto deposit

have build a shop, items can be bought and/or hired. In case customer chooses hiring then there needs to be a deposit on the checkout. The amount of the deposit varies, there are minimal 8 different amounts depending on the product.
Also the hiring price is depending on the chosen dates. What i would like is when they choose the hire option, the customer has to fill in de start+end date and the system checks if this is a normal time or the price has to be recalculated or an extra amount per day needs to be added.

can anyone make this happen in a short period of time and what will be the price.

1. In case of hire - the user need to make a deposit. How it will be returned to the users? Do we need to automate this process?

2. We need to charge deposit + rent amount?

3. Can a user buy as well as rent in the same checkout?

the answer are:
1. no you don't have to automate this process, items first has to be checked before deposit will be refund
2. we would like to be able in the backend to enter a deposit amount per item in case of hiring. The deposit needs to be only on the checkout.
3. yes they can rent one item and buy another

the dates for hiring only needs to appear when hiring is the chosen option
normal hiring period is 3 working days, when longer there is a extra charge which will also varies per item per day
