Hello,

If your looking for some one to help in converting a spreadsheet to csv format so you can upload it to "Hikashop".
I may be able to help you. Attached you can see what I did for another user of Hikashop.
You will note in the attachments this was not just a simple conversion.
If interested please "PM" me with your request.

The Example file is a short version of a spreadsheet that I converted.
The other file is the csv file that was produced after coding.

Hi Charlesdh
Your demo CSV file is helpful, but what is really difficult to work out from the Hikashop documentation is how to import multiple attributes for a product - for example, images, categories, and above all, Variants.

If I am selling a Dress that is available in two colours - blue and red, and each colour is available in two sizes - size 10, and size 12 how do I do this? Similarly, I might want to assign two categories to that dress - "Evening Wear" and "Dresses", and to relate two images to it "Image_1.jpg" and "Image_2.jpg"
Any help would be gratefully received!
Miles

HI,

The info I posed was using excel vba code that combined "Category" and "Sub Category".
From what I understand if you already have the data in "HikaShop" you can export it. This will show you the "Csv" for the product.
If you have a spreadsheet that needs to be converted you can "PM" me.

The main issue is how to format the CSV file to import variants. Yes, I have looked at the exported CSV but I still don't understand the format for the import of variants
Can you help please?

Hi Charles:
I am attaching the file (Hikashop_export1.

File Attachment:

File Name: hikashop_export1.csv
File Size:1 KB

csv)that I exported from Hikashop - a product which had two characteristics - "Dress Size" and "Colour". The exported file did not help much with the variants, but I managed to figure it out and I attach an excel version of the CSV that worked well (TesImport1.xlsx). I hope that this will help others
Best wishes
Miles
