Custom Project for HIkashop - Finish and correct mistakes made

I had customization done on the search function of my hikashop website.

It works, but it left it unable to update Hikashop regularly. It also broke items such as category listings and such the Cart and its associated module, etc.

I need this fixed.

Hi there. Sorry to hear you are having troubles with a prior customization. Did the developer "hack" HikaShop? What type of search customizations did you have done?

Yes, I believe the problem is they hacked up the code instead of working within it.

Search customizations done were to include ability to find product (part) by specific vehicle and year / make / model with a centralized upper search box.
