Is there an Affiliate plugin

Just upgraded to Hikashop Business so I can start and affiliate program and I must admit, I'm feeling as though I don't have half the tools I need.

Is there supposed to be an affiliate plugin? I don't have one.
Is there any documentation anywhere for putting an affiliate program together with Hikashop?

At the moment I'm feeling frustrated and confused!

Hi,

There is an affiliate plugin yes. It's called HikaShop affiliate plugin.
It comes pre installed with HikaShop Business.
So once you installed the Business edition on top of your previous edition, you should find the plugin via the Joomla plugins manager.
Normally, it's automatically enabled and so you just have the configure the settings of the affiliate area under the features tab of the HikaShop configuration:

If you don't see the plugin, it means that Joomla wasn't able to install it. It's likely due to the permissions you have on the plugins/system/ folder or the administrator/components/com_hikashop/extensions/ folder, which don't allow Joomla to write in there.
