showing carousel in Joomla menu

Hello,

The nice carousels are functioning fine on the webshop pages.

The webshop is only a part of my Joomla website and I like to show a few carousel modules in other Joomla menu's.

It seems that the carousel effects are not functioning in other Joomla menu's. There is a static view of some images, but buttons, pagination, fade effects and the like are not working.

Is there a way to have carousel effects working in non-hikashop menu's?

I'm glad to read that the carousel should work on any menu.
Right now I am testing Hikashop on a local testwebsite so I can't present a live link.

I've searched for a javascript error. It might be this one:
In modal.js line 112:
Uncaught TypeError: Property '$' of object [object Object] is not a function

This error exists on non-Hikashop menu's with the carousel.
It doesnot exist on Hikashop menu's with the carousel.

Yes, that did work.
I had to tweak the plugin in little but now the carousel is okay on all pages!
