Address missing in registration page

It might be a simple setting I missed but the address fields don't show up in the checkout - registration page.
(In your demo I can see it should be, if someone is not logged in)

If I log in with a client account that already had the address entered (when it still was version 1.5.6) that also does not show up if I want to change it.
The edit button shows, the AJAX popup comes up but I only get an empty screen with the OK button.

Currently using the free version of 1.5.8 on WSRV2008 system with PHP 5.13
I have no overrides active either.

If the fields don't show it's either because:

The custom fields were deleted in the menu Display->Custom fields. In that case, you will have to install again HikaShop and it will put them all back automatically.

The custom fields were unpublished. So you can just publish them back.

There was an error during the update process and the address table structure is not correct. Try to turn on the "debug mode" of the configuration of Joomla and try again. If you see an error message, please report it for further instructions.

As expected, stupid mistake from my side: in earlier test I played with the custom fields, uninstalled and now reinstalled and custom fields in 'fresh' install remained of.
Found it now and getting the hang how/where to look.
Keep being impressed about flexibility and stability. Great job!

hi,

I am also having the same problem (I've been ignoring it until a customer got confused!)
I have checked to make sure that the custom fields are published, which they are.
I have tried the debug mode when I go to registration. I have attached the text that appeared at the bottom of the page.
I have reinstalled hikashop about a month ago - I can do it again if you think that will help.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

kind regards,
Tanya

Hi,

I don't see any query on the table hikashop_field in your debug trace. So it sounds like you removed the address/login views from the checkout workflow and thus the fields are not loaded. Could you checkou your checkout workflow in the checkout tab of the configuration ?

Hi,

Have you disable the registration ?
Can you give us a screenshot of your custom fields ?

Try to install the latest HikaShop version from our website.

hi,

registration is not disabled - I have 'registration' selected on the checkout configuration page.
I have attached a screen shot of my custom fields page.
I'll install the latest version from the website asap and let you know if that makes a difference.

thanks
Tanya

Hi,

Could you provide a screenshot of your problem ?
I think that, you could display the classical Joomla registration and not the HikaShop registration.
During the checkout, the address could be hidden by a css rule or by view override. So, even if your configuration looks good (but we do not see all of your configuration), the rest could be wrong.

Hi,

It is the joomla registration view, not the HikaShop one. So we can't display HikaShop information into it.

Thanks- I managed to sort it. It turned out that the plugin for redirecting the registration from joomla to hikashop was not active so I had to activate it in the plugin section of the website.
Thanks again for your help.
kind regards,
Tanya
