upload file in the checkout process

During the checkout process and before payment, the customer must be able to upload or automatic sending a file by e-mail.
What are your suggestions? changing the checkout process? ... how?

You can do that either with custom fields of the table "order" (during the checkout) or of the table "item" (on the product page) and of the type "file". You can create them via the menu Display->Custom fields with the Business edition.

hi, i have a little issue.
I check like REQUIRED but the customer can put product on the cart without upload the file.
What can i do to make REQUIRED upload file before proceed to put order in the cart?
