upload image to order progress bar

Goodmorning folks! I would like to ask you if there's some way to show a progress bar when you upload an image with "file customized field". That's because there's nothing that tell to our clients that the upload was loaded succesfully. In case of large files I've to wait a long time and nothing tell me what's happening. Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Are you talking about the custom field ?
If it is, thanks to use the fields with the type "Ajax file", or "Ajax image" and you will have a progress bar displayed.

Hi,

I added Ajax file uploader and I can see progress bar also at the bottom while uploading but the problem is that this progress bar shows complete status in last second when upload completed, is it possible that we show percentage of uploading? Because in large size, it doesn't show anything then suddenly it will be fulled in green bar.

So is it possible to show real time percentage?

Hi,

The percentage is displayed in a span with a classname "progressPercentage".
That span is just near the span for the filename and before the div for the progress bar.

Hi,

The code is already there in the javascript library.
There is nothing to "activate the progress bar ; the progress bar is already there too.

Now please provide precise details about your issue and, more important, the HikaShop version number you're using.

Hi,

I'm using Hikashop version 2.6.1

When a user add my product in cart, he will redirect to ordering process, there we need some data from our users and they have to upload their data for us. In this section they CAN see progress bar BUT they CAN NOT see real time loading bar. It means when their files uploaded, suddenly the green bar will be completed. It's not good because maybe some users think that their files can't be uploaded.

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification.

The progress bar is related to the ajax upload.
In some case, the progress bar is not dynamically updated ; mostly because the browser is not handling the ajax upload and that the library need to use the fallback system.
With Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera 25, Safari, Edge ; it is working good.
With Internet Explorer, for IE11 it should work, for versions prior than 11, it should use the fallback system.

In a specific build of HikaShop 2.6.0 ; the lib had a little problem with the update of the progress bar. But that issue has been solved in the latest 2.6.0 package and the patch is also include in HikaShop 2.6.1
