Hello,
Perhaps it is a small bug then it easy to solve.
When I want to move products to the dustbin (in the back-end) it add products to the cart instead of deleting.
And I also get messages from customers that they cannot delete products from there cart.
Is this a known issue?

Hi,

It is not a known issue.
Are you able to reproduce the problem on your website ? On our demo website ? Are you using the latest version of HikaShop ?

Hi Nicolas,
Thanks for your reply.
I created basket id 158.
When I try to delete a product in the backend it copies another product in the basket.
What I use as an explorer is firefox

to edit
once a product is twice in the basket you cannot delete it in the front end. I click on the delete button, then the screen goes to login.
When I'm back in my cart. the product is simply not deleted. Looks like some sort of loop

Hello,
That's maybe coming from a cache issue so can you disable the Joomla cache, and clear it ? You'll also have to disable it in the joomla config, and unpublish the cache plugin. Also can you clear your browser's cache and try it again ?

Hi Mohamed,
Sorry, that didn't solve the issue.
On both places (back-end and front-end) you can't delete a product from the basket.
In the back-end it just copies the product.
I think this is also linked to the issue.
perhaps you can see it for yourself
www.dodowear.nl
Orders are sometimes twice comfirmed in the reports in the control panel.
by the way I'm using the latest 2.3.1 version on the jm 2.5

Hi,

I was able to reproduce the problem with the product deletion on the cart page display. I've fixed it but it required modifications in 6 different files.
As it's not practical to give all that in a post, I can provide a full install zip of a pre version of next version of HikaShop, if you request it via our contact form (in that case, please give a link to this post and your HikaShop order number), or you can wait for next version of HikaShop for the fix (should be available before the end of the month).

Hello,

There are a point you can check in Checkout Workflow, from Main HikaShop Configuration, Checkout tab => Checkout Workflow, in your Cart module check for the "Show delete icons in the cart" option.

But there are something quite strange about your Html, can you process some test with a default template like ProtoStar ?
The point of this test is to check that your current issue don't come from your template.

Awaiting news from you to progress on your subject.
Regards

Thank you very much Philip. I have checked read only YES on the cart module. So when I check NO the button appears.
Than You again
