I wonder how do I block the sale to almost all countries, allowing only Brazil, for example?
I want only client Brazil may buy the site.
Clients from other countries can not finish the checkout.
How do I?

Hi,

You can :
- Remove (unpublish) all countries (except Brazil) in your country list.
- Put a zone "restriction" in your shipping methods, to just allow the "Brazil".

Okay!
I did it, unpublish all countries except Brazil. However, continued the purchase possible.

Now, how do I restrict the shipping method?

Hi,

Well, in your shipping method configuration, click on "restrictions" and then set a zone restriction.

Not too sure if this is the correct place to post this but here goes....

My Hikashop Eshop has worked fine since I installed it but recently I took an order from a customer in Brazil and whilst I believed all the information the client gave me was correct I have been unable to process the payment. I contacted the client a number of times and explained the transaction was not going through and the details were checked and found to be correct, (as far as the client understood International on-line credit card transactions), and the transaction will still not go through.

Has anyone else had a problem with credit card transactions from Brazil or is there any that anyone is aware off that could cause an International on-line credit card transaction from Brazil to not to go through?

Many thanks for any help that can be provided

Hello,
Can you tell us which payment method you're using ?
Your issue is probably coming from your payment plateform.

I was using the 'Credit Card' payment method where the customer would leave all their details by filling in the relevant boxes and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this sort of problem with transaction from Brazil? Is there something I need to know to improve how this works?

Hi,

There are many reasons an international payment by credit card would fail. Here are a few:
- credit card not enabled for international transactions
- amount too import for international transactions
- not enough funds
- maximum amount authorized for the period reached
- your bank terminal not accepting this type of credit card
...etc...
That's something you'll have to check between your bank (or your payment terminal provider) and your customer's bank.

That is about what I had thought.

I guess in the long run it would be better to just change all payments to PayPal.

Thanks to everyone.
