-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.28
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

"Proceed to Checkout" button click won't take to PayPal payment like "Finish" button click will.

We have it in the cart module, but if the user see's this button while proceeding to checkout, the button click won't fire.

They could be somewhere in the site, click "Proceed To Checkout"...and this works correctly taking them to the final "checkout page". But if they verify everything and click "Proceed to Checkout" again in the cart module...nothing happens. User has to click Finish. This is confusing. Anyway to have the cart module not show on this final checkout step since is't not doing any event on the "Proceed To Checkout" button click?

Hi,

To remove the cart module from the checkout, you have to select a menu which don't have this module associated for the option "Force a menu on the checkout" in Configuration > Checkout.

hi!

We'd like the "Proceed to checkout" module to not show @:
checkout/step/step-1

There is no menu item for that though in the configuration to do a force against this page.
Please advise on what we should do.

Hi,

Have you tried to do what I said in my previous post ?

Use another menu for the option "Force a menu on the checkout", this menu must not have the cart module in the associated modules.

If you want to hide the cart only on the step-1 you will have to edit the module directly and check the url in order to see if you want to display the module or not.

Hi!

Thank you...I have selected a force menu item that doesn't have that module associated...and it's working.

Hi Support,
I ran into this same issue running the latest ESS V2.5 and even though the force menu is turned on NOT for any of the particular hikashop menus, the cart still appears during checkout. The HS cart module is assigned through Joomla MM to these pages though (has to be).
Is there something I'm missing here?
This is confusing or buyers, please help...

Hi,

I'm not following you.
You want at the same time to have your cart module to display on a specific menu item, and that the checkout to be forced on that menu item, but you don't want the cart module to display on the checkout ?
That's kind of contradictory.
