How can I set Hikashop's checkout process so the calculation of free shipping is based on the total AFTER a discount coupon has been applied?
Currently, I saw no obvious way to do this when I went to the coupon creation screen.

Hi,

It should be the case if you turn on the "include virtual product price" option of the shipping methods.

Yes, the virtual produce price toggle is 'ON' already.
If this was already ON, and it didn't have the desired effect I am seeking, what other alternatives would you suggest I could try?

As requested. I am not sure if this is what you're asking for.
Otherwise, I can give you access to the backend via a secure channel.

Hi,

So I will recommend you to remove the setting "include virtual products price" and be sure that every product in your store have a weight (if required, you can use a mass-action to set a weight to all products without one).

When including virtual product price, it uses the order total and the coupon will be taken with it.

I am having this same issue! I'm offering people that sign up to my website a one-time coupon of 20% off. I also offer free shipping on ALL orders over $50.00. So, I have a product that costs $60.00. The coupon reduces the price to $48.00. Shipping should be applied, but HikaShop is giving FREE shipping even though the total is not $50.00.

What do I have set incorrectly? I have the option "Include Virtual Price" selected in the shipping methods. All of the products have weights, as they are all physical items.

Hi,

That's actually your issue.
When you turn on the "include virtual products price" setting of your shipping methods, the coupon discount is taken into account for the price restrictions of your shipping method.
If you don't want to take into account the coupons, you actually need to turn off that option.

Hello,
In this issue I have a question about mass action.
How to add weight value to the products that not set yet,
and the other products that weight value has already keyed in will not be overwritten ?
- - -
By the way, could it possible auto show weight basic value when add a new product, that I do not need to key weight every time?

Hi,

In your mass action you can set a filter on the product_weight column being equal to 0 and it will only process the actions on the products without a weight.

With a mass action with a trigger "after a product is created" you can have an action "update the values" on the column "product_weight" in order to not have to enter a weight each time you create a product.
