When a user has items in his cart then edits his billing address "state" field (the address/field used for taxation), the cart does not update the taxed amount unless the item is removed from the cart and re-added or the page is refreshed (something the typical user is not going to do). The only way to work around this is to create a two page process with the login and address on one page and the cart and checkout on the second. My client wants to have a one step process, as do most of our clients. Is there a way around this glitch? We may end up replacing the ajax check mark with an actual post so that the page is forced to refresh. I doing so we will prob have to create a hack so I am hoping this is something that can be addressed without a hack.

I did find a way around. The address selector in config was set to drop-down list (which really is my preference), however, if i used the popup list it does cause the form to submit and the window to refresh, at which time the cart updates with correct taxation so we will make dio with this until the other can be addressed.

Hi,

We've done a fix on the address system for the "list" mode so that it also refresh the page. The fix will be included in the next versio of HikaShop which is to be released in one or two weeks.
