Good day,

We have a number of products with characteristics on our Hikashop system. When the user selects a product and chooses their options for the variants, the product is added to the cart correctly with it's price.
However, when a user views the cart, the quantity of the product with it's variants is 1 (even if the user selected 1000 from the drop down). And when we attempt to change the quantity in the checkout, the price of the entire product is set to "Free".
Can you perhaps offer any advice on where I could check to fix this issue or what I am missing?

Hello,
Can you show us through some screenshots how did you configured your product price and its variant to have that issue so that we can reproduce it on our end ?
Thanks.

Hi there,

I have attached some screenshots to show the configuration. As I'm sure you noticed, the total price works correctly, it's just the quantity field that I seem to be having an issue with - other than that, all works well.
If you need anything else, please do let me know and I'll gladly provide it.

Can you tell me what do you exactly mean by it ? Your variant seems to be correctly configured, you shouldn't have a free price displaying through your cart for this product unless you used a discount (you can check it via "Hikashop->Orders->Discounts".

I mean that the quantity drop down on the cart just shows "1" initially; and if changed, it makes the product Free. (shown in my newly attached screenshots). We haven't configured any discount options as far as I'm aware.

My bad, I just saw that you had set a "Min QTY" of 1000 through the price of your Dragon seal 34cm no blue product, you should remove that option value to have the correct price applied.
Also, can you give me a link to your product so hat I can directly test it ?
Thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry for the slow response, and thanks for the advice. I removed the 1000 min quantity from the product but the issue still persists. I'll PM you the link to the product :)

Hi,
You can add back your min quantity on your product configuration page :).
Also can you check that you don't have any views override via "Hikashop->Display->Views" regarding the file "Cart" of the "Checkout" view of your front-end template ? If that's the case, can you remove it and try again ?
Thanks.

Hi there,

We don't have any customization in the file you viewed (as shown in my attached screenshot). Do you think the template itself might have something to do with it? I checked the templates own overrides in it's html folder and don't see anything pertaining to the checkout view, but you might know better than I would.

Should I perhaps just pm you admin and ftp details?

Thanks for the report, we just make a hot fix.
A new package will be available on our website in about one hour, so I invite you to download it from the menu My account > My subscriptions and install the package over your current install.
