Change payment method after PayPal failed

-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.2

Hello,
I have PayPal payment method successfully running, but some customers tend to change their mind after choosing it (their credit card doesn't work or whatever reason) and they want to return to checkout and change it to some other payment method. But after returning from Paypal, the shopping cart is already empty, checkout closed, so they need to re-create their order from scratch, that's annoying.
Is there any way how to change this? I can't think of anything, but maybe I'm missing something.

And if not, is there at least some way to have the order status automatically changed to "cancelled" after the payment fails? In our case, the order stays in state "created", what's quite confusing for the shopkeepers...

Hi,

Yes, what you describe is what happens when you have the "Clean cart when order is" setting of the HikaShop configuration is set to "created". Set it to "confirmed" and it will work like you want.
