-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.16

After our upgrade to 2.5.0, it appears that the TaxCloud plugin is no longer correctly applying tax at checkout.

I've checked out TaxCloud transaction log, and I do see the tax listed there correctly, but the final checkout amounts do not include it. We are not using TaxCloud for filing, only for their tax rate API.

The plugin has next to no options, so I have no idea how to toubleshoot this. Any ideas?

This is unsettling. Please reply back if there is anything we can do to help.

Hi,

I've done a test with HikaShop 2.5.0 and the TaxCloud plugin and I'm getting the tax rate properly added to the total during the checkout :
take.ms/EX8ih
So it seems to be working just fine.

Could you provide more details ? What is the source address, the destination address, the TIC and price of the products in the cart and a screenshot of the result on the checkout/order so that we can try to reproduce exactly what you have ?

Looks like this may have been on our end...

Somebody had the TIC set to 00000 (General Goods and Services), which I thought was taxable in WA state, but it does not appear to be now.

Moving them to 90118 (Novelty Flags) appears to be correctly applying tax as expected.

Hmmm... I am relieved that it is working correctly now, but TIC 00000 is taxable everywhere. We should continue the investigation as to why/how TIC 00000 did not return a tax rate/amount.
Thanks!

I thought that to be the case.

Attached are screenshots of the same item, with 90118 set, the tax is correctly included. With 00000 set, the tax is not.
Everything else is identical. (I changed the TIC and refreshed my cart page, that's the only change)

I'm not sure how to further troubleshoot this.
