The checkout workflow editor is excellent and very flexible, but I've still managed to find a problem with it. I have tried various permutations but have settled on a two step process, Step 1 shows the cart and invites the user to login or register. Step 2 shows the cart and invites the user to select delivery and payment options.

The problem is that if I show the progress bar it takes each step's title from the first item in the step, so if I want to keep the cart visible at the top of each page (which is fairly normal so customers can see how each step affects their order) each step is labelled "cart".

Is it possible to have somewhere to set the progress bar label for each step, or select the element from each step that provides the label (eg the second element not the first)? Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Ian

Hi,

The system automatically takes the name of the first view of the step for the name of the step.
So the solution is to add a view which doesn't display anything at the beginning of your second step (for example the fields) one.
Then, you can use translation overrides of the corresponding texts to put whatever you want there:

Hi Nicolas,

That would be a work around but I am using fields for a customer notes field.

What is the difference between the "cart" and "cart status" elements? They look the same but should I be using the "cart status" element at the top of the page?

Thanks,

Ian

Hi,

The cart status one does not let the customer to edit its cart, it is only a display.
So you can potentially use it, or use the terms and condition view and empty the content, or another one and use the translation override.
