No cart button

-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No checkout button

Hi,
when I add a product in the cart and the popup shows the message and I click on the button "proceed to checkout" all works fine

But when I proceed to shop, on the left side I see only "My cart" with the articles but not a button "proceed to checkout".

Hope I have been clear enough.
