-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.makeupshop.co.nz/shop-online-now/pro...brush-cleaning-fluid
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0

After upgrading to HikaShop 2.5.0 I am having a bizarre problem.

You can add products to the cart without issue EXCEPT for one particular product.
Go to the Cleaning Fluid page and suddenly the shopping cart disappears. You can add the Cleaning Fluid product to the cart.

Go back and add a Foundation or other products then suddenly the other cart is back with those items in it -- the cleaning fluid is not in this cart.

I have multiple carts off and I am NOT logged in.

Update: It is happening with other products too, like this one:

I reinstalled HikaShop.

It is driving our clients crazy.

Help!

Hi,

I don't see why the update would change that.

It looks like a caching issue on your website.
Can you try to turn off all the caching on your website (joomla system cache plugin, Joomla configuration caching setting, template caching setting if any) ? That should hopefully be better.

All cache is off.
Did not change the problem.

I found it.

In the new Canonical URL section of the products that were causing the problems, there was a hard-coded link to an add-in domain that is on our cPanel account (http:www.makeupshop.co.nz....).

Thus whenever someone would go to that product then it would actually be on a completely different domain -- which was the cause for the new Shopping Cart.

I simply cleared those Canonical URLs -- working fine now.

Wow. Where did those come from?

Hi,

It was potentially coming from the value of the option "Force canonical URLs on listings", is you were using the option to generate them automatically it fill the value in the product settings directly. So if you do any changes on your website after that, the urls can be no more valid and it is causing this issue.

Yes, that was turned on by the update. I did not have them before.
