Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 99.995.999.999 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

hello,
I get a privacy error and my url reverts to an ip address format ( we used this when implementing the site ) when the cart quantity is 0 and I click on finish. Also this happens when the cart is empty and the payment information is displayed and click on finish. Also the url is the non SEF form: https://99.995.999.999/~mictmorg/index.php?option=com_hikashop&view=category&layout=listing&Itemid=254

Any clues as to what may be causing this?
Thanks,
CL

Hi,

This looks like an SSL issue, are you sure that your SSL certificate is still valid ?
If not, that's why the message inform that the connection is not private.

Please check that with your host provider.

Google Chrome warns you whenever it finds out any abnormal tracks taken while you browse things on the web. Take the Your Connection Is Not Private message, while many consider it an error, it’s actually a warning. There could really be a problem with the site’s certificates. Or the issue is actually caused by your settings. Logging in to an unsecure site is not recommended. Let’s explore possible solutions to ending this annoying error:

Check System Date and Time
Disable Antivirus SSL Connection
Clear Cookies and Cached Files
Reset Chrome Browser
Open Chrome in Incognito Mode
Expired SSL Certificates
Update Chrome Browser
