Characteristics for range in checkout

Hi,

Client of me sells interiour items. One of the groups are funiture. Couches and chairs. ALL couches and chairs have the option (Characteristics not added yet) for blank or black feet.

What the client wants ( he doesn't want to add that options to all the product individualy) is when someone orders a couch and/or chair that in checkout the option appears to choose for blank or black.

Is that possible, and how. Tried to fugure this out but cant find it.

This can be done but not thanks to the default HikaShop settings, this will require custom code.
View edition and a plugin to handle this use case.

Is it than possible with MASS ACTIONS to add that option to couches and chairs only?
So client does not have to add that to all product individualy.
