-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.43
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : 404

Hi
I have been using this version perfectly fine up until a customer made me aware of a 404 error in the pop up when adding to cart, the items are actually added to the cart, I have found that disabling SEF in Joomla config stops the error and all works correctly...this has never happened before and I have made no changes recently

Why has this suddenly happened? Also I would like to keep SEF enabled, what can you suggest please?

Regards
Neil

Hi,

Guess the search here didn't work for you... ;)
Look here: www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/87...product-to-cart.html
Or directly here: www.hikashop.com/forum/product-category-...update-to-2-5-0.html
Or skip reading it all together, download the latest version and install it over your present one.

Well that worked, would be a good idea if these kind of updates/patches were put out to subscribers via email.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

Since the release of HikaShop 2.5.0 ; we made several "hot fixes" and generate new packages (which have different build number).
We can't email everybody for that but that's right that we could see to improve the update system in order to also check the build number and not only the release number.
I created a feature request for that.
