issues with checkout while logged in

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Versjon 45.0.2454.99 m

I have HIKASHOP Starter 2.5.0… and have issues with checkout while logged in… It works if I log in when I check out, but not if I make a new order and check out… The message is “Thanks for shopping”, but the order is not created and the shopping cart is not emptied…

Hello,
I just tested it by logging in on the checkout and also by being already logged in and it worked fine in both case.
Can you give us more information about your issue through some screenshots for example ?

Hi,
Thanks for helping us. I attach a screenshot of the checkout settings (hika1.jpg)… And two screenshots of the orders... hika2.jpg is the right order and hika3.jpg is when it fails.

I only see one order from you.
Did you try ordering several times or just one? I mean, complete one order, and then order one more item while still logged in? That’s where the problem is.
The first order goes well, but not the next ones….

You see it right away, because the text with “Thanks for shopping. Your order has completed an your order number is….” changes to just “Thanks for shopping.”
And on the right you still see the content of your shopping cart…

I see now, under the settings for orders:
Allow customers to reorder: Only in commercial versions of HikaShop
I can't find any explanation for this in the documentation.. Is the documentation for the commercial version?
So my problem es related to the fact that I have the Starter HikaShop?

I'll try to manually update to 2.6.0 to see if it helps.. :)

Hi,

The issue is that you removed the "confirm" step from the "checkout workflow" setting of your HikaShop configuration.
You should add it back. Or actually turn back on the "advanced checkout workflow edition" interface, which handles that automatically.

The reorder option is a new option of HikaShop which allows you to display a "reorder" button on your customers' orders listing page so that they can easily reorder the same products they already purchased in one click. It's not related to the capability of creating several orders, one after another. That's working regardless of that reorder setting.
