Create Password on Checkout Page

When a customer choose "create an account" on the checkout page, it does not give them the option to add a password. Should they not have this option?

The reason why I ask is if they come back to the site and want to login to check their account they need a password, and unless they request one using the "forgot your password option, they don't have one.

This may be a little confusing as I have a customer told me. So, how do I add the option for them to add a password on the checkout page?

This is the email that they get when they enter their information on the checkout page - no password is provided.
