Minicart not showing simple as minicart

Every time I click on the "Add to Cart" the item is added correctly, but the minicart on the top menu shows all information about the item including quantity which makes the top bar beyond the menu items unreasonable tall. This does not look nice.
Once I get to another page such as the product details or checkout, it become normally showing the correct minicart with on total $. And if I click "Add to Cart" again the issue happen again.
