-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : I am seeing this on the admin page,
SIMPLE joom_extensions ALL extension NO INDEX KEY COULD BE USED NULL NULL 218 Using where; Using filesort

but NO errors in the debug on the cart page.

I have setup a coupon for the first time.
I have tried every conceivable way to configure it. I have tried a percentage a flat rate
everything

I have moved the checkout workflow all over.

When I enter the coupon code, the cart screen refreshes but nothing happens. I expected the item to be added to the cart, but that does not happen. I tried adding the item first, then adding the coupon, nothing.

IF i put in an incorrect coupon code I do get a message
Notice
The coupon you entered is not valid.

So the flow seems to be working.. but nothing appears in the cart.
I also finished the checkout, and checked the invoice the item is not affected there as well

and the number of times used for the coupon remains at zero.

I can setup a remote session or send credentials on a private of course

Hi,

I've tested on your website and I don't see the "coupon" view in your "checkout workflow".
You can't add a coupon on the checkout if you don't have that view.

I've also tested a coupon configured similarily on a test website on my end and it works just fine.
So please provide a way to reproduce the problem on your website (coupon code, URL of the product page, etc).

How did you test on our website? The website requires a user login!

I know the coupon view is not in the checkout workflow.. I had to take it out, because it does not work!
In my email I stated that I had tried putting the coupon in many spaces in the workflow and it did not work,
sorry I did not make this clear.

When I recieved this response, I decided to make a video. It's on my google drive, shared link below

I added the coupon back to the workflow
I put some items in the cart.
I enter the coupon
Nothing happen's
Just like before.

I then added the item that gets the discount.
Suddenly it adds the coupon discount, it did not do this before, when I tested.
This is not how we want it to work. read on..

I finished the order.

I then added more items to a cart
I went to the cart,
and the coupon code was already entered!
I think this is because I set load in cart if possible to ON.

but.. thats not really what we need

What we really want it to do is. Add the item free to the cart when the order gets to 350$ or
If they need to enter the code that is fine. but once the code is entered, it should add the product to the cart and discount it to zero. If it cannot do zero we can make it a penny..

Is this possible?

See the video link.

Hi,

I tested with a test user account you had previously provided and that I still had on my end.

HikaShop has no system to add a product to the cart when a coupon code is entered in the checkout.
What "product" setting of the coupon does is that it restrict the use of the coupon to only when that product is in the cart.
And if you have the "auto load in cart" setting activated in the coupon, the coupon will be loaded automatically in the cart if the product you selected in the coupon is present in the cart.

I understand now. I will work out some way to work around this with the owner.
Thanks
