Hi,

if I have an item, and its price is £4.00 for 1 unit.
I have an offer where if they buy 3 they get a reduced price - £3.20 each unit.

the drop down selection of 3 units works fine and offers the correct price.

however, if the customer simply types in a number of units e.g. 4 into the add to cart box,
the price remains at £4.00 per unit,

how can I force this to change automatically ?
thanks

Hi,

Could you provide a screenshot of the settings of the product and a link to the product page so that we can see the issue and analyze it ?

Hi,

You went in the wrong direction.
You don't need a characteristic for the quantity selection. HikaShop already handles that.
You could do that: take.ms/OgqIq
And then just set the 3.20 price with a minimum quantity of 3 in the main product and no prices in the variants.
On the product page, you would then have a dropdown instead of the quantity input and you would be able to select between 1 or 3.
You could also keep the input and let the customer enter the quantity he wants.

Thanks nicolas for your advice,
I see how that works better and saves a lot of time for me,

but it shows the lower price on the main product selection box, is it possible to choose which which price is displayed ?
(main price or reduced price)

Hello,

You should edit your product listing content menu/module and set the "Which price" to "Unit price".
