No order email is sent to shop owner

Hi,
A simple question.
Everything seem to work fine with the shop except that no emai lis sent to the shop owner.
Confirmation email is sent to the customer and order is registered in HikaShop backend but as the shop owner doesn't get any email no order is received basically.
I need help with this, have had this issue a number of times and sometimes it seem to work but sometimes not.
Any suggestions please.

Where do I configure the recipients (shop owner) email address?

Hi,

I suppose that you must have either deactivated the "order admin notification" via the menu System>Emails or removed the email address in the setting "order admin notification email address" in the Emails section of the HikaShop configuration.

Alternatively, you can also add your email address in the BCC field of the "order status notification" so that you'll get a copy of the email sent to the customer.

The first alternative is not deactivated so that is no issue the second "order admin notification email address" in the Emails section of the HikaShop configuration.
Do you mean System => Email here?
In those fields there are only the correct email address entered.

The third I am uncertain where to find also.
Must be some kind of server error as it occurs sometimes and then after I fiddel around with settings without actuaolly soing any major changes it starts to work again for some time.... weird.

Hi,

You can see the BCC field here in the interface when you edit the order status notification via the System>Emails menu:
take.ms/HBZvN
If the order admin notifications are sometimes received and sometimes not, then the issue is likely not with HikaShop but with the email server and you would have to check the logs of the email server which sends your emails.
You can check that the email has been sent by HikaShop under the menu Customers>Emails history
