Empty pop up appear on checkout when no shipping method available using manual s

Hello guys,

I have setup a shop using manual shipment methods with geographical restrictions.

Now, when the customer tries to purchase a product that does not have a shipment method to his address, when he goes to checkout, he is greeted first with an empty popup box. When he closes the popup, then he can see on the checkout list that there is no shipment method for some of his chosen products.

How do I put in some friendly error message into the popup instead of having an empty one. Can't find it under Languages.

Hi,

That doesn't look like a HikaShop popup. I've checked it on your website and it looks like it's coming from something else.
I see a lot of javascript cod related to your WYSIWYG editors even though it has nothing to do on the frontend and some of it is related to popups.
Try temporarily deactivating the editor plugins via the joomla plugins manager and see if that removes that popup.

If it's really linked to the template trying to display the error message from HikaShop, then you'll have to check with the template provider.
To check on that, try to temporarily switch to the default template of Joomla and see if you get the error message properly displayed.

You're right, Nicolas. I removed the display system messages setting under the theme that we are using and the message has gone. Thanks.
