Hi.
I am trying to set shop in my client's website but I can't solve problem that I have in checkout.
If I choose any test product, go to checkout and try to place order by clicking on the button "Finish" I just get page reloaded, without any error message. Order is not made.
Same is happening if I split checkout to multiple steps, or If I keep everything in one page. For payment plugin, for test purpose we use Bank transfer payment plugin.
Any idea?
Kind regards,
Dejan.

P.S. Let me know if you need admin credentials for backend

Hi,

Could you provide a link to a product page and a test user account so that we can reproduce the problem on your shop in order to understand the situation ?
Could you also provide a screenshot of the settings under the "checkout" tab of the HikaShop configuration so that we can see how you configured your checkout ?

Yes, I realize that I didn't provide link. Here it is: www.elktis.com/en/shop
Also, there is screenshot of checkout settings, as you requested.
Meanwhile, I was exploring problem a bit deeper and I discover that issue is somehow connected with template. If I switch to joomla "native" template Protostar, I get everything works.
From your experience, where is the problem exactly? Template used in frontend works just fine in all other aspects.
Also, I can give you backend admin credentials, but let me know how to do it. If I post them here, they will be public which is actually bad idea, right...?
Kind regards,
Dejan.

Hi,

Your screenshot only provide some of the settings of that tab. You could provide a screenshot of the rest of the settings ?

I don't need backend admin credentials. A frontend test user account would already be plenty as I'm not able to register on your checkout I'm getting an error I can't read: take.ms/98hdH
And note that we have a button to post confidencial information that only moderators can see.

If it works fine with the default template and not your template, then it's usually a customization issue in the views.
Try renaming the folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/checkout/ if you have it and try again.

Hi.
I am sending you requested usernames and pass in confidental area. I guess you don't need screenshots of entire checkout settings, since you can see that part now.
Kind regards,
Dejan.

Hi,

Thanks for the frontend test user account.
I was able to reproduce the problem.
And as expected the error message is displayed:
take.ms/q8bsg
It's just that your template has some CSS issue and thus it's almost impossible to read it.
On the screenshot, I've selected it so it's a bit better and you can see it reads:
"No shipping methods found".
So the problem is with your shipping methods. If you don't want any shipping, then remove the "shipping" view from the "checkout workflow" setting of the HikaShop configuration.
Otherwise, make sure that you configured your shipping methods properly by checking our FAQ:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/106-faq.html#ship
And I strongly recommend you to contact your template provider so that they can fix the CSS for the error messages on your website.
It will help you and your customers a lot.
