I have activated the "Reorder" plugin. It appears to work well, except for the fact that it seems to redirect to the Checkout page before the Session is updated with the newly recreated cart. The makes the page display a Joomla message reading "The cart is empty" at the top of the page while still displaying the correctly rebuilt cart below it. Is there any way to suppress this message here without disabling it when it functions properly?

Hi,

The system redirects to the checkout after adding the products to the cart, and the checkout displays the "The cart is empty" message after it has checked whether the current user has a cart or not AND redirected to the URL of the setting "URL where to redirect when cart is empty" of the HikaShop configuration.
So what you're talking about, the checkout displaying that error and the cart after clicking on the reorder button should not be possible.

On my end, that function works just fine with the latest version of HikaShop.

Found my problem. I was using a test account which contained a LOT of old test orders. The easiest reorder button available was on a logged order which was actually "cancelled" status, not "confirmed" or "created". Apparently cancelled orders can't be reordered, which is fine. In that circumstance, you might consider hiding or disabling the button sometime in the future.

I had three old orders which triggered the "Limit reached" message for no apparent reason (no limits are set upon any of the products or components), but once I manually re-assembled the order contents in a cart, that message stopped appearing. I'll take that as a good thing - if it re-appears, I'll tackle the issue then.

Thanks!

Hi,

I've checked on our end but the reorder button should work the same regardless of the order status. Note that in the HikaShop configuration you can use the "cancellable order statuses" setting to restrict the display of the reorder button to only the order statuses you want.
