Problem with ssl

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.29

I have "force ssl on checkout" turned on. After something is put in the cart, the ssl stays on all the time and sometimes it is interfering with the page loading. Even if I go to a page that does not need ssl. The breadcrums are not always showing the page correctly, esp if I go back to home page. Sometimes the page even break (image below)

If I turn ssl off - everything works fine ---but no ssl!

Can I have ssl on only the pages that need it. I have had this problem for quite a while - since I went to new Fave Themes template.
