-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5

I currently have a problem with a customer site, where out of nowhere the following error shows up.

It was working fine until a few days ago, when we started optimizing sef. I don't know if there is an correlation.

But the before fine working continue shopping function always ends in an 404 after finishing the order. Even when you leave the config field blank in the config it shows up with an 404. Also when you enter local url or url with full http......

Btw: where is the delay configured for the time at the end of the ordering process when the order number shows up and the continue shopping link takes effect?

thx. for your help.

kind regards

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean.
There is no "continue shopping" button at the end of the checkout, and no delay setting for continue shopping buttons.
At the end of the checkout, the system will redirect to the default thank you page of Hikashop or to the "return URL" that you configured in the settings of your payment method. And it does that as fast as possible.
If you get a 404 error at the end of the checkout, it probably means that the "return URL" setting of your payment method is configured with an invalid URL.

Hi nicolas,

I see what you mean. Did some further investigation. Looked into the after_end file if there was a custom, answer is no.

Looked into the return url of the payment method, there was none configured before and there was no 404.

I have now given it a try with www.yahoo.com , but I still get a 404 telling me "Page not found : www.yahoo " . Somehow the .com got cut of.

Any ideas?

Hi,

You're missing the

http://
at the beginning of the link. Because of that, the system is redirecting to:
http://yourwebsite.com/www.yahoo
and the website is searching for a menu item with the alias www.yahoo on your website, instead of redirecting to the yahoo website.
The .com being cut off is probably the doing of the SEF system of your website but that shouldn't happen if you set the http at the beginning of the URL.
