-- HikaShop version -- : 3.00
-- Joomla version -- : 2.6.5

So I get two different errors when trying to checkout. Mainly because I dont know which settings are needed there is a paypal manager username & password for paypal pro. There is also an API user name and password. The signature is straight forward, I also checked the documentation and it doesnt speicfy which username and PW. Either way I tried both and neither work.

With paypal pro username & PW I get error : 10002 - Security header is not valid

With API Username, PW, And Signature I get: PayPal returned API error code 10527 - Invalid Data – This transaction cannot be processed. Please enter a valid credit card number and type.

I and several of my customers have tried serveral cards with no luck I attached a picture with some of my settings maybe this will help.

This payment method is live on my website now, I just put a disclaimer for my customers that it isnt working. So they use the paypal advanced plugin.

Jerome,

I did the same search found the same pages. That gets me no where to know why the plugin or hikashop is having this issue. I tried with my own working CC and have same results. Can you please dig a little deeper and let me know whats going on? Were losing about 4-500 dollars a day as this sits unresolved.

Hi,

As the links from Jerome explain the error 10002 means that the credentials are wrong and that's because you need the API ones.
When you get the other error, it means that the credentials are correct.
With the debug setting turned on, you should see the data that is sent by the plugin and what is the answer from PayPal server when it fails.
What do you get on the screen ? Could you provide that debug data ?

I have the debug on my website now. Its enabled and the error I think we are looking for is:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$ccv in /home1/alamode1/public_html/arma15/administrator/components/com_hikashop/helpers/checkout.php on line 285

I noticed the error code above showed CCV in it, does CCV need to be enabled for paypal pro? I have it off, I figured if it was required it wouldnt even be an option in the paypal pro plugin.

I also have a debug console which shows information for:

1.Session
2.Profile info
3.Memory usage
4.Database Queries

If you need that info I can get it but a few of them were like 50 pages each so let me know which you want and I will get it to you. Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. I've added a patch on our end in order to fix that issue which come from the use of the new checkout system.
Download again the install package on our website and install it on yours and it should then work properly.
