Bug when the cart is empty

Hi,

I have noticed a bug when the cart is empty.

If someone clicks on checkout when there is nothing in the cart what is supposed to be displayed?

Which HikaShop version number are you using ?

And what is the bug you have noticed ?

Hi,
This may or may not be a bug. But since the update to 3, My Cart module which I have set to "Hide if Empty" shows regardless.
The cart module shows with the text "The cart is empty"
Any thoughts as to why?

Hi,

We've added a fix that that issue of the empty cart message displaying even if you turned off the option of the module.
Download again the install package on our website and install it on yours and that will fix the problem.

I've downloaded and installed the version HikaShop Business 3.0.0 [1702240148] and the message does disappears but the empty shopping cart module still shows.

Hi,

Yes, that's necessary so that the add to cart AJAX system can refresh the content of the cart module when to click on an add to cart button.

I am running the very latest version of hikashop business. When the cart is empty and you click on checkout it shows !The cart is empty (which is fine) but then it shows all of the products with all of their different available prices beneath them:

£ 162.00 (£ 135.00 excl VAT) each
£ 148.80 (£ 124.00 excl VAT) each
£ 136.80 (£ 114.00 excl VAT) each
£ 122.40 (£ 102.00 excl VAT) each
£ 109.20 (£ 91.00 excl VAT) each
£ 97.20 (£ 81.00 excl VAT) each
£ 193.20 (£ 161.00 excl VAT) each
£ 166.80 (£ 139.00 excl VAT) each
£ 153.60 (£ 128.00 excl VAT) each
£ 146.40 (£ 122.00 excl VAT) each
£ 140.40 (£ 117.00 excl VAT) each
£ 127.20 (£ 106.00 excl VAT) each
£ 114.00 (£ 95.00 excl VAT) each
£ 100.80 (£ 84.00 excl VAT) each
£ 87.60 (£ 73.00 excl VAT) each

Hi,

As far as I can see, that's just because in the settings of your menu item, you've configured the "which price" setting to "all" and thus it displays all the prices of the products.

Thanks for looking.

There are no "Which price" settings in the menu item for checkout - only for category pages and shop home. The checkout menu item doesn't have any of the hikashop display options.

Hi,

When you click on the "checkout" button, since the cart is empty, you get redirected to the page www.stsdrapes.co.uk/com-mijoshop-custome...sket/product/listing
So it's the settings of the menu item "shopping-basket" that you need to look at for the products listing of that page.
