Register after checkout

Is it possible to automatically send the user their login details once they have paid for an order?

So we have the login form up top and if the user doesn't login they can checkout as normal. Then on payment confirmation we register the user and send them username/password logins?

We are trying to make the checkout process much quicker and easier. You could also then have a AJAX/JSON based email address field that on complete enter validates the address is not in use and then requires they login to checkout an order with the said email address.

Actually the only way to do it will be before ordering a product. There is no option to automatically convert guest users to registered users after having paid for an order, so that will require some code customization.

Ok no problem I'll re-write the method to auto register and log them in on entering their details.
