Unable to complete order with secondary currency selected

-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.15

Hi Hikashop

We have run into an issue with the new checkout. We have two currencies (EURO and USD). With the "Main currency" set to EURO, the USD currency doesn't work in the checkout and vice versa.

What happens is that once you have filled out the checkout page, checked the terms and conditions and proceed to click on "Finish", the page simply reloads/refreshes without any errors or information. This continues to happen no matter how many times the "Finish" button is pressed and no matter what payment method is selected.

Right now we have selected to use the "Legacy checkout" which doesn't seem to have this issue.

We are using Gantry 5 with the helium template but have also tried with another template (without gantry) without any success.

Do you know what could cause this/be the reason behind our issues?

We'll need more information through some screenshots about your issue but also about how you configured your :
- "Checkout workflow" via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout"
- Payment methods

Hi!

Here's the screenshots of the checkout workflow and payment methods.




And here's the issue:


The URL of the checkout when you first get to the checkout page is: www.example.com/shop/checkout/checkout.html

As shown by arrow 1 the currency is set to USD for this order (the "Main currency" is stil set to EUR).

And when the button (shown with Arrow 2), is clicked the page is refreshed looking exactly like the picture above, the only thing that has changed is the URL which is now www.example.com/shop/checkout/checkout/task-show/cid-1.html

But nothing further changes and one can't complete the order still.


This issue is still there if we change the "Main currency" to USD and try to order in EURO.

That's a bug we fixed 2 weeks ago:

Download the install package on our website and install it on yours and that will add the patch for the problem.

Thank you very much, the issue has been resolved and it's working again now. We tried to look for the issue / soloution on here before posting but we couldn't find it.
