best way for google adwords conversion tracking

Hi,
i am going to change my current shop to hikashop.
now i think about the best solution to implement google adwords conversion tracking with hikashop.
i found a few older information, but i would like to ask for the latest possibilities. i am going to get hikashop business for it.
is it the manual way the best to insert the conversion tracking code on a thank you page, or is there a plugin?
i already use google analytics on my site with a joomla tag-manager plugin,
and i already used conversion tracking with my current shop (but not in a good way).

what i would like to do:
everytime a customer finished an order/payment, it should trigger the conversion code.
nice to have, also to get the conversion value to google.
i have never used the ecommerce tracking of google, probably that would be a good idea too?

in my opinion, that is so important, that there should be a plugin for all of that ..
