remove Quantity and Total price in checkout

-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.5
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome

Hi

I am trying to remove the Quantity field and the quantity price from my checkout. I don't need them because I only have one item of everything.
I tried the solution given on this page www.hikashop.com/forum/checkout/863859-r...ity-total-price.html , but it did not work, my site went all blank.

I did the changes in an editor program in the checkout/cart.php file.
.
I have an old version of Hikashop, because it seems that my template doesn't match the new version.

Hi,

I don't think that you need any PHP modification for that. You should be able to simply hide the different areas of the cart table with CSS code.

Other than that, these changes should still be ok with the legacy checkout you're using.

I tryed to change here ->display > Views > checkout / cart.php,
But when I remove those lines from the link above, my website goes blank, disapears. So what am I doing rong?

Hello,

You mentioned it's the view before the edition so I suppose that's the official view.
Please do not paste official HikaShop view content ; specially when it's some very old content.
And as you will understand with the content "before" the edition we can't know what you have done.

Also, when you have the blank page, turn on the error reporting and debug of the Joomla configuration in order to get the error message on the blank page and provide it. We'll have a better understanding on what went wrong.

Sorry I dont get it. Did I do something rong by adding the filecontent? I will delete it then.
I just wanted to show you how my file looked like before the editing. There is some lines that the link above sugest us to remove from the file. But they don't exist.

I must be stupid.
When I remove the code sugested I get a blank page. The error report says

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'else' (T_ELSE) in /hsphere/local/home/chris2009/meisolle.com/templates/rasa2/html/com_hikashop/checkout/cart.php on line 211

What to do?

Hi,

We didn't suggest you to remove any code. We suggested you that you shouldn't need to do that modification and that it would be better to use CSS code to do that modification. The code on the other thread was for a version of HikaShop from 4 years ago. Things evolved a lot since there and the recommendations there are a big change in the code, so it's no wonder it's breaking your page when you try to apply them.

So if you want us to be able to help, please provide a link to the page with instructions on how to get to that page (if necessary) so that we can look at the CSS on the page and tell you what CSS code you should add and where.
Please note however that such personal customization support is not normally included in the user support you get with our commercial editions, and even less so if your subscription is expired...

Nicolas is simply telling you that customization is not part of our support (both free support and commercial support).
And the fact that you're asking such kind of support for an old HikaShop website with an expired license is not well seen.
But he is not telling you to get a new license to get an answer for your customization question since customization is not part of our support.
