product used as option in other product bug

I have several products that are build with some variants. These products are used as option in another main product. This has always worked fine, but now the option is giving an error message after submitting the product to the cart. This only occurs when the optionproduct has a variant that has no price assigned (because it's a free option). See for example:

when choosing "geen bedrukking" (no pricevalue) the error message appears in the shoppingcart in the upperright corner. When choosing "Logo (plus € 7,50)" it works fine. Looks like the lack of pricevalue is causing this error.
